A little known paradise of high quality multipitch rock climbing on 200m to 600m high limestone cliffs in the heart of France!

France is known for its amazing limestone rock climbing and Presles offers some of the best in a quiet area of the Vercors plateau near Grenoble. The Vercors plateau rears up from the Isere river's valley bottom in an endless series of limestone cliffs up to 600m high. Many bolted and trad routes have been established on these cliffs with easy road and trail access. From the 16th century village of Pont-en-Royans where Galena Mountain Guides has beautiful private accommodation with full amenities, you can be climbing limestone within minutes for days on end!

Location: Presles cliffs in the Vercors, France.

Dates: 3 day to 7 day trips in May and June.
